Each morning, we started with our sound bath meditation for each chakra with Giulio playing the piano and Anthony playing the crystal bowls balancing within ourselves. Escaping to realms we never experienced before. We each had our own spiritual awakening. The combined tunes created vortexes every day as a group was so powerful! I attended Sense-ational Awaking 2025 retreat, not fully understanding what was in store for me. But just feeling intuitively like something I was drawn to and had to attend. And I love Italy!!! The historic and gorgeous castles, villas, palaces, churches, caverns, lakes, restaurants that we experienced were just absolutely incredible. I Just got back from the most incredible 8 days of my life in the beautiful region of Umbria , Italy…my first ever spiritual retreat… and it was truly a Sense- ational Awakening. This was the passion project of Giulio Roverelli, hosted with so much love by him and his amazing wife Eva McDaniel alongside the incredible Anthony Profeta, internationally known meditation teacher, mindfulness guide, and sound therapy master. Together they created something truly magical. The week was filled with magic. I met the most amazing people who now feel like family. Each day we explored a different chakra with beautiful candlelit piano and sound bowls setting the atmosphere, we learned about centuries of spiritual history, wandered through breathtaking sites, and shared meals that were out of this world (… even Michelin-star meals). On top of that, there were so many thoughtful little surprises along the way that made me feel so seen and cared for. But the greatest gift of all? A true spiritual awakening—wrapped up in laughter, joy, and memories I’ll carry forever. I’m still trying to process everything that just happened… but I know one thing for sure: my heart is full, and my soul feels forever changed.

I was able to attend my first holistic event only on the first day of the retreat, in an enchanting location, and I must say it was an unexpectedly beautiful experience. The combination of Anthony’s bowls, played with mastery and sensitivity, and Giulio’s piano, created the perfect relaxing atmosphere. The sounds and scents put me in a state of calm, where I felt completely immersed and I could feel the beating of my heart as the only thing present.
