Our first Sense-ational Awakening retreat for 2026 will be held in the Marche region, Italy from June 10 to June 18, 2026
The venue for our June 2026 retreat is the Relais Marchese del Grillo in the outskirts of Fabriano, the city of paper, in the province of Ancona, Marche region, Italy. The Marche are considered the “New Tuscany”, and are still undiscovered. The Adriatic Sea and the Appennini mountains, squeezing in between colorful rolling hills are fascinating and captivating. A territory still unexplored by foreign tourist.
This is also Giulio’s birth place, who knows all the magic spots for you to see.

The venue for our June 2026 retreat is the Relais Marchese del Grillo in the outskirts of Fabriano, the city of paper, in the province of Ancona, Marche region, Italy. The villa, built in the 1700’s maintains a luxurious charm. The renovations and updates make it comfortable, while still feeling the past so rich of history. A gourmet restaurant, new pool and a unique Spa make this resort stand out. The Spa is out of the ordinary: outdoor/indoor and offers a unique, patented “Paper Treatment”, specifically developed with wood pulp, which has beneficial effects on the skin and body. This is the only place in the world where you can experience this treatment.
Giulio states: “This venue has deep childhood memories for me, as I used to go play in the haystack in the back of the villa, while my mother shared afternoon tea with the countess Anna, past owner of the property. In my teenage years we used to party in this villa. And an top of all that, this is where Eva and I celebrated our wedding. It’s integral part of my life, and it would be a honor to share it with the participants of Sense-ational Awakening”.

A sense of serenity will immediately wash over you as you check in to your own private room furnished with only the most comfortable of beds, a designer en-suite bathroom, and delicate decor. To ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible, your room will also be appointed with amenities guaranteed to meet your every need.
Rooms
The Relais Marchese del Grillo is a 4-star resort, and has very different room types. We have reserved all the rooms in the main building consisting of the noble villa. Rooms vary in size and decor, but maintain a style reminiscent of the 1700’s era. Most rooms have frescoes and are furnished with original antique pieces. The level is therefore luxurious with an antique flair.
However, we do not guarantee a specific room. We are offering one price for all the rooms reserved for this event. With that in mind, all the rooms reserved fit within high quality standards, as you would expect in a luxurious retreat as Sense-ational Awakening.
